Shall और Will का प्रयोग भविष्य व्यक्त करने वाले घटनाओं या कार्यों के लिए किया जाता है। ऐसे वाक्य जिनके अंत में गा, गी, गे के जैसे शब्द जुड़े होते हैं, वे वाक्य भविष्य काल व्यक्त करते हैं। ऐसे वाक्यों को अंग्रेजी में बनाते समय शैल तथा विल का प्रयोग करते हैं। Shall तथा Will का प्रयोग Modal Auxiliary Verbs के रूप में होता है। Future Indefinite Tense में shall तथा will का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Shall का प्रयोग माॅडल ऑग्ज़ीलियरी वर्ब के रूप में तथा फ्यूचर इंडेफिनिट टेंस की Helping Verb के रूप में करते हैं। नीचे दिए गए Use of Shall के सभी नियम ध्यान से पढ़ें;

Rule – 1 Shall का प्रयोग सामान्य भविष्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए करते हैं। इसके अंतर्गत अनुमति, इच्छा आज को व्यक्त करते हैं।

Examples:

1. मैं कल अंग्रेजी पढ़ूंगा।
I shall study English tomorrow.

2. हम आपको 7:00 बजे मिलेंगे।
We shall meet at 7 o’clock.

3. मैं बस से कल जयपुर जाऊंगा।
I shall go to Jaipur by bus tomorrow.

4. क्या हम कार चलाएंगे?
Shall we drive the car?

5. क्या मैं तुम्हारे लिए खाना पकाऊंगी?

Rule – 2 Shall का प्रयोग suggestions व्यक्त करने के लिए प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य में करते हैं।

Examples:

1. क्या मैं यह लिफाफा खोलूं?
Shall I open this envelope?

2. क्या हम इस रास्ते से चलेंगे?
Shall we go through this way?

Rule – 3 Let us बाली आगे सूचक वाक्य में क्वेश्चन टैग्स के साथ shall का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Examples:

1. Let us play together, shall we? (आइए हम एक साथ खेलें, क्या हम?)
2. Let’s sing now, shall we? (चलो अब गाते हैं, क्या हम?)

Rule – 4 यदि वाक्य में कोई आदेश, प्रतिज्ञा, धमकी, वादा, दृढ़ संकल्प या अनिवार्यता का बोध हो तो shall का प्रयोग करते हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में Shall का प्रयोग Third Person Pronouns के साथ करते हैं।

Examples:

1. She shall cook food today. (Command)
वह आज खाना जरुर बनाएगी।

2. You shall not open the door till I come.
जब तक मैं न आऊं तब तक तुम द्वार न खोलना।

3. You shall get this money. (Promise)
तुम्हें यह धन अवश्य मिलेगा।

4. He shall be praised.
उसकी प्रशंसा जरूर की जाएगी।

5. She shall kill him. (Threat)
हो या तुम्हें अवश्य ही मार देगी।

6. If you don’t open the box, you shall be beaten.
यदि आप बॉक्स नहीं खोलते हैं, तो आपको पीटा जाएगा।

7. He shall pass the exam. (Determination)
वह परीक्षा वर्ष पास करेगा।

8. You shall cross this river.
तुम इस नदी को जरूर पार करोगे।

9. You shall fill the form completely. (Compulsion)
तुम यह फॉर्म पूरी तरह से अवश्य भरोगे।

10. Girls shall come for practice in the evening.
लड़कियां अभ्यास के लिए शाम को अवश्य आएंगी।

Will का प्रयोग Modal Auxiliary Verb के रूप में Future Indefinite Tense में Helping Verb के रूप में होता है। इससे संबंधित सभी नियम नीचे दिए गए हैं;

Rule – 1 Will का प्रयोग किसी भविष्य के सामान्य कार्य या घटना को व्यक्त करने के लिए करते हैं।

Examples:

1. He will write a letter to his father.
वह अपने पिता को पत्र अवश्य लिखेगा।

2. She will come here on Monday.
वह मंगलवार को जरूर आएगी।

3. You will open the box.
तुम यह संदूक अवश्य खोलोगे।

4. Mohan will help her grandmother.
मोहन अपने दादी मां की अब मदद करेगा।

5. Seema will buy a new knife.
सीमा एक नया चाकू अवश्य खरीदेगी।

Rule – 2 जब किसी वाक्य में इनकार का भाव व्यक्त हो तो will not/won’t का प्रयोग होता है।

Examples:

1. मोहन कॉफी नहीं पिएगा। Mohan will not drink coffee.

2. वे इस पेड़ से फल नहीं तोडेंगे। They will not pluck the fruit from this tree.

Rule – 3 Will का प्रयोग वादा, प्रतिज्ञा, दृढ़ संकल्प, धमकी, इच्छा तथा पक्के इरादे के लिए करते हैं।

Examples –

1. I will kill you. (Threatening)
मैं तुम्हें मार डालूँगा। (धमकी)

2. We will punish you for this. (Threatening)
हम आपको इसके लिए दंड देंगे। (धमकी)

3. I will go to see the Taj Mahal. (Willingness)
मैं ताजमहल देखने जाऊंगा। (इच्छा)

4. We will help everyone in the village. (Willingness)
हम गांव में सबकी मदद करेंगे. (इच्छा)

5. I will buy you a bicycle. (Promise)
मैं तुम्हारे लिए एक साइकिल खरीदूंगा। (वादा)

6. We will meet you tomorrow. (Promise)
हम कल आपसे मिलेंगे। (वादा)

7. We will not let the enemies enter the country. (Determination)
हम दुश्मनों को देश में प्रवेश नहीं करने देंगे। (दृढ़ निश्चय)

8. I will catch the thieves by tomorrow. (Determination)
मैं कल तक चोरों को पकड़ लूंगा। (दृढ़ निश्चय)

Negative Sentences of Shall and Will

Structure: Subject + Shall/will + not + verb I + object + other words.

Negative Sentences in Hindi

Wh-words Type Interrogative Sentences

Interrogative Negative Sentences

इंटेरोगेटिव नेगेटिव सेंटेंसेस में सब्जेक्ट के बाद not रखते हैं। बाकी का स्ट्रक्चर ऊपर दिए गए स्ट्रक्चर के अनुसार ही होता है।
