Use of With and Hindi Meaning
With का हिंदी में मीनिंग साथ, के, सहारे, भरा, से, साथ, के, पास, के बावजूद, मिलाकर, साथ से आदि होती है। इसका सही उच्चारण विद होता है। कई लोग इसको विथ भी पढ़ते हैं। With शब्द भेद (Parts of Speech) की श्रेणी में आता है। With का प्रयोग निम्नलिखित के अर्थों में होता है।
To indicate relationship
Relationship का संकेत करने के लिए with का प्रयोग करते हैं। जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति के साथ होता है, तो वहां इसका संकेत करने के लिए विद का प्रयोग किया जाता है। अगर आप अपने पिता के साथ जा रहे हैं तो यहां with का प्रयोग करेंगे।
With is used to indicate a relationship. ‘With’ is used to indicate when a person is with another person. If you are going with your father, you will use ‘with’ here.

1. I am going to Kanpur with my father.
मैं अपने पिता के साथ कानपुर जा रहा हूं।

विरोध (opposition) व्यक्त करने के लिए with का प्रयोग करते हैं। जब कोई व्यक्ति या समूह किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति या समूह का विरोध करे तो विरोध व्यक्त करने वाले शब्दों के साथ विद का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Instrument or Means
जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी साधन या औजार का प्रयोग करता है, तो verb के साथ with का प्रयोग करते हैं। यदि आप चाकू से सेव काट रहे हैं तो यहां सेव काटने का औजार चाकू है।
When a person uses a tool, with a verb, ‘with’ is used. If you are cutting an apple with a knife, the tool to cut the apple here is a knife.

Cause
किसी कारण (cause or reason) को इंगित करने के लिए, verb के साथ विद का प्रयोग होता है।
To indicate a cause or reason, ‘with’ is used with a verb.

1. The people of Africa are dying with hunger.
अफ्रीका के लोग भूख से मर रहे हैं।
2. The old woman was shaking with cold.
बुढ़िया ठंड से कांप रही थी।

Manner
जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी कार्य को किसी तरीके या ढंग से करता है तो क्रिया के साथ विद का प्रयोग करते हैं। यदि कोई सैनिक युद्ध में बहादुरी के साथ लड़ता है। तो यहां उसके लड़ने का तरीका बहादुरी के साथ है। यहां with का हिंदी अर्थ (meaning) ‘से’ है।
When a person does an action in a manner, we use with verb. If a soldier fights bravely in a war. So here is his way of fighting with bravery.
Examples –
1. The soldiers fought with courage in the battle of Panipat.
पानीपत की लड़ाई में सैनिकों ने साहस के साथ लड़ाई लड़ी।
2. The girl is sitting with her legs in water.
लड़की पानी में पैर पकड़कर बैठी है।
Care or Possession
With का प्रयोग Care or Possession को इंगित करने के लिए क्रिया के साथ करते हैं। यहां care से तात्पर्य संरक्षण तथा possession का तात्पर्य कब्जा अधिकार से है।
With is used with a verb to indicate Care or Possession. Here ;care’ means protection and possession means right.
Examples –
1. You should not leave your things with strangers.
आपको अपनी चीजें अजनबियों के साथ नहीं छोड़नी चाहिए।
2. The magic man had no money with him.
जादूगर के पास पैसे नहीं थे।
3. The boys don’t have their purses with them.
लड़कों के पास अपना पर्स नहीं है।
Equivalent to verb Have or Indicating Quality
रखने तथा पास होने के अर्थ में with का प्रयोग करते हैं। इस प्रयोग में यहां with का meaning hindi में verb – have के समान है। वैसे प्रयोग में with का प्रयोग होने पर विशेषता का भाव प्रकट होता है।
With is used in the sense of possessing. In this usage, the meaning of with is similar to verb – have in Hindi. By the way, when ‘with’ is used in the experiment, the sense of specialty appears.

1. I have a chair with broken legs.
मेरे पास टूटी टांगों वाली कुर्सी है।
2. There was a woman with black eyes.

In spite of के Hindi Meaning ‘के रहते हुए भी’ तथा ‘के बावजूद’ के अर्थ में with का प्रयोग होता है। ऐसे प्रयोग में विद का प्रयोग वाक्य के प्रारंभ में करते हैं।
With is used in the sense of ‘in spite of’ and.’ In such usage, ‘with’ is used at the beginning of the sentence.

1. With all her wealth, she is not happy.
अपनी सारी दौलत से वह खुश नहीं है।

Indicating Separation
जुदाई या विलगांव (Separation) के भाव को व्यक्त करने के लिए विद का प्रयोग करते हैं। ऐसे प्रयोग में कोई व्यक्ति किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति से अलग हो जाता है।
With is used to express the sense of separation. In such usage a person becomes isolated from another person.

मेले में राजेश अपने माता-पिता के साथ बिछड़ गया।

To express filling
With का प्रयोग Hindi Meaning ‘भरने के अर्थ में’ किया जाता है। जब कोई खाली बस तो किसी दूसरे बस से भरी हो या ढकी हुई हो तो with का प्रयोग करते हैं।
